Prehistoric Times

Today in class, we talked about the different era's of prehistory. In the prehistoric era 200,000 years ago, human species emerged in southwestern Africa, 14,000 years ago world wide human race existed , and the earliest prehistoric age was the Paleolithic age. The Agricultural revolution aka the Neolithic  revolution was a shift from itinerant hunting/ gathering more permanent settlements centered on agriculture. The populations rose to increased ability to care for young children. Hierarches appeared in village life: the status of women was lowered as they were confined more to domestic duties, just like today. Also the invention of the wheel and plow made it possible to produce enough food storage. And the villagers were polytheists, which means they worshiped more than one god, animal or human.
